Shipping and Packaging

Shipping & Packaging FAQ

Where do you ship from?

Every order is lovingly packed and shipped from my home studio in Massachusetts. It's just me here — your artist, box-folder, tape-wrangler, and mail carrier-wisher — making sure each piece arrives safely to your door.

How much is shipping?

I use flat-rate shipping to keep things simple and transparent:

  • $7 — For flat artwork (like prints and unframed pieces)
→ Ships in sturdy rigid mailers with protective sleeves
    → That’s Painted & Posted ✉️
  • $12 — For bulkier works (like wooden panels and originals)
→ Wrapped carefully and boxed up for safe travels
    → That’s Snug & Secure
  • $25 — International orders (flat rate, most zones)
→ Please note: customs or VAT may apply in your country.

Do you offer free shipping?

At this time, I don’t offer sitewide free shipping — because I’d rather keep artwork prices honest and transparent. But if I ever run a special offer (like free shipping weekends), subscribers get first dibs!

When will my order ship?

Orders ship within 5 business days — often sooner. If you need something rushed or have a special request, just reach out. I’ll always do my best to help.

Will I get tracking?

Yes! You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order is on the way.

How is the artwork packaged?

With love, care, and good tape:

  • Flat pieces are wrapped in glassine, backed with chipboard, and sealed in compostable sleeves before mailing (Painted & Posted).
  • Wooden artworks are cushioned in sturdy boxes to prevent shifting or damage (Snug & Secure).

I use recyclable and compostable materials whenever possible.

What if something goes wrong in the journey?

I pack each piece with care and intention, but once it leaves my hands, it’s in the care of the real world. If your artwork arrives damaged, please email me at stelladorriestudio@gmail.com within 4 days of delivery and include a photo of the issue.

Because each piece is one of a kind, I can’t offer exact replacements — but I will make it right. That may mean a refund of some kind, a credit toward another original, or something else thoughtful depending on the situation. I handle each case personally and with kindness.
