Collection: Kindling Season Originals

Small originals for the season of light, warmth, and gathering.
From kitchen windows to stone walls, each piece holds a flicker of comfort.

This collection was painted in the early turn of fall — the season of gathering blankets, lighting lamps early, and watching steam rise from something warm in your hands. Each of these pieces is small and deliberate. Not grand, but grounding.

A hand-painted gouache scene of a wooden garden gate set in vine-covered fence, partially open. Autumn leaves are just hinting at a turn and warm light glows beyond the fence. The scene evokes welcome, memory, and the quiet pause before stepping into something familiar.

They’re one-of-a-kind originals, painted with archival gouache, colored pencil, and PanPastel on cotton watercolor paper. Meant to hold a moment still: a quiet light in the window, a pumpkin on a stone wall.

The name Kindling Season comes from the way we prepare — collecting small signs of care, comfort, and readiness as the days grow shorter. These paintings are part of that. Tiny reminders to gather warmth, story, and light.
