Welcome to Stella & Dorrie Studio

Creativity has always been my world—making, storytelling, performing, teaching. For years, I explored each piece separately. It’s time to bring it all together.

Welcome to the Studio Blog

This is where I slow down and share the stories behind the art—what I’m making, what I’m learning, and what’s growing in this season of life and creativity.

You’ll find sketchbook pages, process notes, reflections on art and everyday magic, and glimpses into a studio shaped by both limitations and possibility.

Pull up a chair—there’s paint on the table and stories to tell.

Bright Little World

Bright Little World is a celebration of wonder. It's about hope, connection, and the stories we carry - whether loud or whispered.

Through small brushstrokes and soft colors, this collection invites you to slow down, look closely, and see the world a little differently.

Sometimes, a bit of light makes all the difference.

A gentle rebellion in color—a tender invitation to reconnect with wonder.

  • Hello!

Hi, I’m Miranda, creative and founder of Stella & Dorrie Studio.  I create original artwork that’s made to do more than decorate - it’s meant to resonate.  Here, creativity is a path to stories of peace, growth, and positive change.  Each piece is designed to share imagination, hope, and narrative with the people and spaces you love.

  • A gentle yet expressive gouache painting of a rabbit mid-bound, caught in motion across a softly toned, dreamlike landscape. The colors are muted and earthy, with a sense of momentum and lightness. The composition suggests trust, instinct, and the brave moment of leaping forward—before knowing how the landing will feel.

    Who This is For

You are curious, thoughtful, and maybe just a little bit soul-weary from all of the injustice. You’re drawn to beauty, but you want it to mean something. This is art for collectors who feel deeply, value intentionality, and believe time spent with joy and beauty can be a form of resistance and provide energy for transformation.
