Welcome to Stella & Dorrie Studio
Creativity has always been my world—making, storytelling, performing, teaching. For years, I explored each piece separately. It’s time to bring it all together.
Bright Little World Prints
The Bright Little World prints are here.
This is a curated collection of small-batch, fine art giclée prints—each one chosen for what it holds: hope, connection, and the stories we carry, whether loud or quietly tucked in our pockets.
Through small brushstrokes and soft colors, this collection invites you to slow down, look closely, and see the world a little differently.
Sometimes, a bit of light makes all the difference.

Welcome to the Studio Blog: What's on the Table?
This is where I slow down and share the stories behind the art—what I’m making, what I’m learning, and what’s growing in this season of life and creativity.
You’ll find sketchbook pages, process notes, reflections on art and everyday magic, and glimpses into a studio shaped by both limitations and possibility.
Pull up a chair—there’s paint on the table and stories to tell.
Art for people who still get excited about fireflies.
Welcome to my tiny world of color, memory, and connection.
What We Are All About
-
Hello!
Hi, I’m Miranda — creative, artist, former teacher, and founder of Stella & Dorrie Studio.
I create original artwork that’s meant to do more than fill a wall. It’s meant to connect.
I make art to slow things down, to hold memory, spark imagination, and make space for connection.
Each piece invites a pause. A small moment of beauty, grounding, or hope.Wait… who’s Stella?
Stella & Dorrie Studio is named after two beloved pets from our family’s menagerie:
Stella the cat and Dorrie the dog - longtime companions and emotional support specialists.
They’re not painting anything (trust me), but they are the spirit behind the studio: loyal, curious, sometimes mischievous, and always full of love.— So no, I’m not Stella. —
But I am the one doing the drawing, painting, packing... and making a glorious mess behind the scenes. -
Who This is For
This is for the ones who keep the light on.
Who hold memory and meaning in their homes, their stories, and on their walls.
Who believe that beauty isn’t frivolous—it’s fuel.If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place.

Marks, Memories, and Meaning: The Stories That ...
Some postcards were easy. One was really hard. But each helped me find my way back to myself—one small moment at a time.
