Painted in mid-March, Desperate for Green began as a craving—for color, for life, for something to focus on when everything outside still felt gray. It was inspired by a birthday bouquet, but more than that, by the need to shift my gaze somewhere hopeful.
It’s about paying attention. Noticing what your eyes keep coming back to and letting them rest there.
