A narrow gate opens into the yard where light flickers through shadow and the path disappears into memory. This painting is part of my Kindling Season collection, however it began it's "How will it would look in the autumn, in the fading light of the day and the season?"

Painted on 100% cotton archival watercolor postcard paper, the image itself measures 4x6, and is painted edge to edge. Originally part of the Summer of Gouache Collection.  It is signed on the reverse.

This is a one-of-a-kind original - not a print - and makes a meaningful gift for someone who finds beauty in transitions: changing seasons, shifting light, the quiet pull of entrances and exits. It’s a reminder of what’s waiting on the other side — after sunset, tomorrow, or next season.

Original gouache, colored pencil, and PanPastel on 100% cotton watercolor paper. All materials are archival and lightfast, meant to last.

Part of the Kindling Season collection.
